Default new 6 speed or some grease?

goiing to be putting in new clutch and dont want to have the same little squeak. i have it when at a light or turbo timers cooling engine. i can hear a litlle squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak,ect... it will disapear as soon as clutch is depressed, just the slightest touch makes it gone. i do not want this with my new clutch and want to know if there is a place to put some grease so it wont squeak.

i didnt like 3sx's answer, they say i need new tranny. they said i was sold a bad transmission. it was bought new(not rebuilt) less than 10k miles ago. and installed by dealer(with new tc as well). both my new and old trannys made the sound. so did the new clutch put in at 8k miles ago. clutch or tranny????????
so did i get fucked by the dealer or is there a simple solution? i would grease it all up good but dont want my clutch failing. pulling out my hair! j sin

Did you ever put in a new throwout bearing?

Sounds like a bit of warping of the flywheel.. not a big deal.

new TOB each time. new flywheel and then new surface when rps put in. still squeaked. if its there and wont cause a problem other than annoyance, i can live with it. i dont want to get done and have someone say "oh yeah did you put a dob of grease on the ______? it would never squeak after that."

thanks for ideas, they are being addressed so, any other idea would be great. j sin

I'm just curious, but did they tear down your tranny and inspect it to come to that conclusion?

Lol, typical 3SX.

I order stuff from them too when I have to, but a quick phone diagnostic cannot determine whether or not you need a new trans. What a bunch of shitheads.

Edit: My tranny did the same thing. You need to slather your TB with grease. Also get a new fulcrum ball and TB fork. Grease those up good too. You'll be set.

I think you need to find a better shop. Where do you live? If you are a little bit further north, Autovelocity (Hagerstown, MD) might be a good option. Toddrs93 is the guy who runs it.

EDIT: After rereading the description, it does sound like the throwout bearing. I'm really surprised the dealership didn't replace this. You may want to check your invoice to see if they charged you for a new TOB.

Sounds like throw-out bearing chatter to me. My didn't do it till I replaced my clutch, and then it started doing it I assure you my transmission isn't bad.
