Nelson,

I give you a lot of credit for sticking with this car, when its obvious you could run out and buy a built GTR and join the masses.
That's one thing I do not get is how much fun an event is watching the same cars go down the track where the big difference is how deep their pockets are. Half the cars are underground racing cars and that's great for them since their not building the cars for free, so those shops are full with high dollar builds year after year. The event isn't even interesting unless people bring in different cars to compete. Its about terminal velocity so they have to be cars with low Cd so that's already limiting the field. Its about getting off the line and maintaining traction so AWD or massive tires and down force is a given so that again limits the field.

i agreed and disagreed , there is cars with ton of money invested and still stock on the 10s/11s.
not only the money will put your car faster but yet you need lots of money to go fast .
so for the people that say use the right combo , parts from the shelf, taking my car out of a pile of garbage and go fast and bla bla bla, they have no clue whats about it. and if so where are they .
F1 has it all and theres only one faster.

Nelson I typically would want to stay out of the name calling/bashing threads when they start up but I think this time I'm going to speak reason.

1. I believe most of all of us on this site and others believe you are stretching the shit out of the term street car, you no longer have headlights, your exhaust exits out of the fender, your front end of the car is entirely custom tube frame that's not a street car anymore...

2. The time line you are mentioning about the 3SX/DR 1/4mile record war when your car ran the 9 and held the record for a week I believe but then you never took it again until earlier this year. You would go out and run a 9 then immediately next run run a 11 due to some mechanical failure or just due to not being able to properly get the power onto the track. To the point both shops abandoned their race programs and the 1 parted his car out. This was years ago though, again the issue at hand here is you are trying to take claim that you were running record breaking times when these cars retired and no longer ran but there is no record of you beating the record at this time.

3. Lastly there are plenty of full interior cars on this and the other site running 10's. Some of them are bolt on turbo cars, others are td05, and some are single turbo cars again some of these cars haven't been ran at the track in a while.

I'm not bashing you, altho all the candy crush game request on the faceybook get old haha. You are a very opinionated and determined person and nothing is wrong with that its just how you put your point across is that you are the only person on this site or the interweb that should matter to anyone.

my street car has lights in fact better then stock , i even have a muffler before the exhaust tip (vipers have the same are they street legal?), making a front for easy access and use subframes that bolt to the stock body don't lock you from street legal far i know.

this was in 2009 and look at the same shit you guys are talking today lol.the same year went 9.18@157 with a 3600 pounds street car

there is no 10.0 car street or race racing. my car still have wipers,power windows , glass all around, dot tires, power steering wheel, full interior , much more and can be driven all day long , rain sun or snow.

PS:you shouldn't be calling people out to race and then run with the tail between your legs or thread "if you ever for the holy of mother brake my record i will take my car out of the pile of garbage and get it back the same week. I'm waiting now. oh boy this is a sign worth lol...

you should learn how to referred to cars or ask someone before you posting . on the race term of saying theres not 10.0 either is a 10.00 or faster meaning that you can't brake the 10s.

SO , NO there is NO 3/S going 10.00 or faster built,tuned in USA.

PS: the car you mention above doesn't exist anymore blew up with full of problems and that was about it for that car.

yes i did said that before , the car is ready to go to the track and make full passes , still on the trailer ,i will go to a local track one more time soon i get a chance, then ill get ready to try to go there . if i put the 5 speed in ill dyno her before i go. not sure if i can make it yet, the weather here don't help for testing now…

nelson has proved he's not scared of going to race other big HP cars. It's just a strupid thing to say really. He's THE ONLY car this platform has in most big events these days. How about we just be grateful he's representing us, giving us something to be interested in other than GT-R's and Lambo's.

it seems like from 70ish to 200+ mph. easy for a 5 speed car. a 3rd to 4th gear is all it needed with a bit of spray to spool the turbos on 3rd gear and low rpm.. Saf's car did a cazy 3rd gear pull with his drag car with about 1300hp. his car was as fast as 1500-1600whp GTR and lambos in that pull.

dyno record at 1348 awhp on paper , the car is most likely 1600 on the 5 speed

And all of this on a street car lol, i don't even see any of the shops here ever to get close to that on their race cars, if they have one. You should go hate on them , a shop with out race car for me is not a shop.

This "community" crap is annoying. It's his car he can do whatever he wants with it and it has zero effect on you or anyone else "in the community." Stop riding someone else's coat tails and do what you want someone else to do for "the community."

If it's that important to you (general you) to see a 3S at TX2k events, then build your car for it and go.

I'll go back to work now so that I can keep funding the car "I" want to build.
