Default Need ideas on upgrades

Hi, so i havn't been on this site in years, its good to see its still going strong. Anyways, so I blew a rod im my 1991 stealth TT a few years ago and its been on blocks through college. im graduating in a couple weeks and im gonna make a lot more money and am looking to spend around 20k including a new engine on my car. I just wanted to see what people suggest as how to upgrade.

Take in mind i want to spend at least half on performance and about half on exterior (new paint, possible 99 conversion, etc.), interior (new leather seats, dash, etc.)

Any input would be greatly appreciated since i havn't been keeping up the latest additions in the past 5-6 years.

Bring it to Dynamic racing and I am sure he can help you.

Unless you are super attached to your 91 Stealth, I'd sell it for what you can get and use that 20K to buy either a true 99 VR-4 or a VR-4 Spyder. Otherwise, 20K should be able to turn that into a car that is faster than hell and showroom and showcar quality.

New pampena stage III short block, DR stage III heads, IPS Evo III kit, supporting mods, pampena tuned.

Fiji blue paint, JIC magic coilovers, 18x9.5 bronze TE37's, etc etc.

Or, have you considered getting something newer and saving some $?

I'd pass on the 99 vr4 idea if you plan on going fast. You need to go standalone to really harness big power from a 98/99 vr4. 20k can take your 91 into the realm of 11s or 10s, reliably. Dynamic racing is not a bad idea if you want it done correctly.

buy a kia spectra and put the rest in a retirement fund, you do want to retire right?

but seriously, i like the idea of buying a 99 vr4 or a spyder.

+1 if you put 20k in to your 91 TT that will be one sick monster
Good to have another 3S around Albuquerque.

Heh, thanks for the financial advise on the spectra, but im getting a 30k sign on bonus with a 6 digit income from making around 15k a year now. I have a financial plan set up with my adviser now but i really want to get my old car running again.
