Still need help guys I started it without the MAF it reved up and down up and down, etc. then I plugged it back in and it started fine and idled out at 800 like usual so does that mean my MAF is needing replaced?

If I had to take a guess, I would say your iac is the problem. Did you try cleaning it?

No I haven't cleaned the idle control valve yet my roomate who is a tech at Ford said this is the likely problem and would help me fix it later when we get off work thanks bro!

So it's running better now that I reset the ECU last night but where is the IAC located because I think that must be it since I've tested everything else...

IAC is on the throttle body. Its the only thing with a BIG black connector. Its removed by taking out 3 bolts with 8mm heads. CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF THE IAC COILS! Yes its important. You're online, so find the page with the testing instructions on it. Other than that squirt it with some QUALITY carb cleaner and remove all the black gunk.
