Yeah, your handlebars look sturdy enough to survive a crash when someone (or animal) pulls out in front of you, as your chillin' with the throttle locked on your clip-ons and your hands on your ape-hangers (without brakes.)

WTF is that supposed to mean?
Thats the risk of the Throttlemeister, just as much as its the type of risk I take on with the bars.
Obviously the bars just as much as a motorcycle's bodywork aren't designed to 'survive' in a FREAKIN'ACCIDENT!

'Not sturdy' mentioned, I assure you bars are very sturdy and not wobbly in the way of steering and driving at constant speed on the road, even going over road bumps. You have to remember, handlebars are just something to hold on to, I'm never using those bars when I'm really 'steering' at all, you don't 'steer' a sportbike anyway its all leaning.

Omg I would have loved to have those on my 3 hour ride from vegas to cali. I don't know how your bike sits, but on my gixxer the ride position is so far forward when compared to other bikes, my back and neck start killing me in no time. However, cruise control and an engine cage allowed me to sit in a reclined position and that helped.

I gotta admit man, the R1 is just like that in full race mode on those stock bars!
Ready to start the journey soon.

i think thats crazy... i would never consider that trip in a car...needless to say a bike... just get a plane ticket... 100$ isn't worth the risk....

Do NOT ride with those bars... I would seriously fear for your life.

And I NEVER SAID HE COULD GET 700FWHP on BPU, I was showing an NA car that is well over the 200whp barrier you seem to think is so hard to reach. We did not even begin discussing traction issues or anything like that. Yet again you seem to think I don't know a thing about my car and you could not be more wrong. If I could neg rep you for "reading comprehension" I would because you obviously only see and read what you want to.
