Yeah, your handlebars look sturdy enough to survive a crash when someone (or animal) pulls out in front of you, as your chillin' with the throttle locked on your clip-ons and your hands on your ape-hangers (without brakes.)

Thats the risk of the Throttlemeister, just as much as its the type of risk I take on with the bars. Obviously the bars just as much as a motorcycle's bodywork aren't designed to 'survive' in a FREAKIN'ACCIDENT! 'Not sturdy' mentioned, I assure you bars are very sturdy and not wobbly in the way of steering and driving at constant speed on the road, even going over road bumps. You have to remember, handlebars are just something to hold on to, I'm never using those bars when I'm really 'steering' at all, you don't 'steer' a sportbike anyway its all leaning.

Omg I would have loved to have those on my 3 hour ride from vegas to cali. I don't know how your bike sits, but on my gixxer the ride position is so far forward when compared to other bikes, my back and neck start killing me in no time. However, cruise control and an engine cage allowed me to sit in a reclined position and that helped.
