No offense but that's an accident waiting to happen. Those handle bars may be comfy but in a quick emergency it just looks too dangerous with them right at your adam apple, I wouldn't trust them. Go rent a van and throw the bike in the back and you'll be sooooo much happier.

I won't have bars installed all the time
you move back to stock bars whenever you're in a situation around anyone where reaction time could be needed faster than a couple seconds

I fully understand inherent risks

I believe I will remove that bar in middle thats a good idea. Either that or like I was planning, making sure I have one of those foam pads there.

Good idea but man, be careful! Like others have said, with the 'cruise control' on and your hands away from the gas/brakes it would be scary to have to jump down to the main bars in an emergency...

Just be safe! And I can't imagine considering driving a bike across the county! lol

Are you for real? I would advise against your awaiting death setup. Might as well make a coffin mod to go with it.

As for whatever your putting into that box, ship it and lose the box. Or put into two smaller boxs and ship it for only like 40 bucks priority mail. Only thing I like on that setup is the punisher symbol.

Ok the box is awesome.

I'm totally digging the extra cruise/bars, just a slight redesign to make them safer, and the best mod ever! It would be cool if they were telescopic and just compressed down when you didn't need them.

All in all wicked!

It's been my experience on bikes that you don't know when you will or will not have more than a couple of seconds for a cage to try killing you.

Good luck on the trip and your sales! Make some money and be safe!

This is true. My suggestion is to buy a sport tourer. I have a Honda ST1100 that came with luggage standard, however you can remove it and let out your inner hooligan when you feel like it. Best of both worlds IMO.

Can you really trust how sturdy those home made bars are? Plus, it might make the steering geometry all wacky... not to mention the amount of air rushing at your head will be insane. It'll probably make you more tired in the long run.

I second the shipping of your stuff vs. that huge drag on the back of your bike.

Some of you don't understand or miss the point of things.
thats fine

My handlebars are very sturdy. Once again, I know about risks and how I have to treat moving between bars, in fact I happen to know better than any 1 person in this world, about MY bars here..

You really have to know me well. I make my own decisions.
I will heed any advice of caution, I'm gonna do my best to pull this off and be alive.
