Bored at work with nothing to do.. So here are some pictures before the motor was pulled..

Yea I figured so much. I'm trying to figure the best plan of attack. I might get some purple power and spray that all over it and let it soak for a while. Saw your build as well. Pretty interesting. I thought about picking up a NA and swapping something into it

Yeah what I did for engine bay grime was spray purple power and wipe down initial simple layers. Then let it soak a couple of times and wipe down after each.

Ah man that's unfortunate. Good luck with that grease...wish I had a garage and all the tools to be able to pull my engine. I'm more then positive that's what my engine bay looks like as well.

Tonight was a good night for progress. It took me 2 hours to clean all that sludge from off the subframe but its clean now. Also I got the transmission broken down and by center differential core out, and half of my engine bay painting done. Hopefully I'm able to tackle the rest of it while I wait on my gaskets and differential to arrive.

I have to agree, wish I had the garage, I have the tools, but no garage. Lol.

Stripped the bay today for paint. Unfortunately the ac and ps are going back in after. Also preparing to wire tuck it as well..
