Default My car squeaks when it bounces, why?

I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I thought at first it was struts, but it's making the sound on both sides of the front end now and the ECS strut on the drivers side is new, so that's out.

Basically, when the car experiences any bouncing movement, whether going over a bump or accelerating/decelerating, it makes a squeak like an old farm truck. It only emits from the front end, equally from each side.

Does anyone have a checklist of places to look? I've tried myself but it's hard to get under the car enough to tell since it has to be on the ground to make it squeak obviously.

Sway bar link bushings, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, sub-frame bushings, rack and pinion bushings...take your pick.

And if it doesn't seem to be any of those, it could be a rusty, ungreased lower ball joint.

You need to torque the foreward bolts of your A arms. Those bolts are about 6" long and the nut faces foreward. You are hearing metal to metal squeek from the steel insert (cruch bushing) to frame. 65 lb.s if I remember correctly. Ten bucks says I'm right. LOL.

make sure your sway bar isnt rubbing on the frame (where it goes along horizontally along your steering components), check the clearance

Some of you may even get thatnoise just by turning the steering wheel a little. And those that go bump when you touch the brakes to slow down, it's really loose.
