Default Is my brake booster going bad?

I come to a dead stop turn the car off my pedal rises straight to the top without any tapping to the brakes.

2. When I start braking excessivly my brakes pedal rises higher and doesnt really feel as if its breaking very well(seems harder to push due to the pedal rise).
