Weight savings, wouldnt have to use AWD front steering rack/reseviour, won't have to worry about AWS failure.

I mean whats the difference b/w Richards car and a normal stealth TT?

-normal crap removal
-CFDS
-Hood
-rims (had stock VR-4 rims on at the track)
-Coil overs
+metal IC/pipes (aluminum)
+bumper
+headers/turbos
I don't know how to answer this either. I don't have solid numbers, but the AWD rear subframe fell less than 100 lbs heavier than the FWD rear subframe. and my car weighed 3200 lbs without me in it FWD.

I have all the stuff you mentioned above, plus.. AWS delete, AC delete.. then full radio with amp and a carputer

so...3200 plus AWD subframe, TC, DS, (rims?)= 3350? just a guess
BTW, whats the point of having lighweight rims if you dont use them (on the track)?

HAH! why use a manual lathe when there is a CNC just sitting next to it

or would you have made yours with sandpaper?

Sandpaper ? , no way I have Snap-On files !

I assume you do the machining at school , its much more fun to use the toolroom lathe then a turning center .

I actually co-op at the machine shop at Ga Tech. I have used my fair share of CNC and non-CNC lathes/mills

I could have spent an hour turning it down manually, or 5 minutes programing it and working on other parts of the project while it does all the work for me
