This is the fucking reason I look at this site. Its the hope that some bad ass will post a thread that has information, pictures and results.

YOUR THE SHIT!

Really nice work and keep up the good fabrication. It looks like it has been paying off.

The diff was not welded perfectly straight. I had it done before I knew how to weld and the welder screwed it up a little bit. The OS seal leaked with a welded diff when I first had it done.

I didnt use a freeze plug because they didnt have any at the parts store when I went and this looks like it will seal as good if not better. Its an expandable plug just like a freeze plug, only adjustable.

All my 60' times were posted on the first page, but the best was a 1.732
I was not having traction problems at all. I was so used to driving my car as FWD that I was slipping the clutch too much when I should have dumped it a little quicker. If you have ever driven a 400+ hp FWD car down the track a few times you will understand why I am used to slipping the clutch on the launch

Everyone else, thanks! I really tried not to say much until I actually finished and got some decent results, I hate when people start threads when they first start a project, and not once their finished!

Great pics. That seems like a hell of a lot of work you went through. I'm glad that it was worth it.

I'd definitely love to hear what your car weighs now. I bet you're still coming in pretty light, despite the conversion.

Also, why did you decide not to use AWS? Was it for the weight savings or to keep things less complicated?
