Default Mountain running?

I was just wondering if anyone here has taking their stealth/3000gt up to the roads in the mountains like a mountain run.. If so how was it?

I've done it with someone else's Stealth a long time ago. At the limit it liked to understeer with the stock suspension. It was still a lot of fun, but not the best idea even though I never crossed into the other lane.

im not sure what you mean by mountain run. do you mean like pikes peak, or just driving your car through the mountains on the highway. I do the latter all the time. i actually am leaving from cali for idaho tomorrow and am looking forward to flying through the Sierras in my Vr4. I only hope its not snowing. so far ive bested a 120mph turn while coming down into Reno.

I can only say that it is a RUSH!

PS. im going to take a time lapse video of the drive up and down. I hope it comes out good.

are you guys just getting into that stuff? sort of old, been doing it for a while, i think you mean mountain runs as in curvy roads? touge type of roads? i don't typically do that in the mountains but done it a lot with similar roads, a few times in the mountain but these tanks that we drive like to understeer like hell! not really what i recommend.

do you mean like how does it run at a higher elevation? well... i can tell you from personal experience that high elevation blows my balls. 7200 feet isnt exactly fun. everything is slow.

It never gets old. If it did then i would get rid of my cars. Go and climb through 7k feet of rugged mountians at 120mph through the turns and then tell me its old. Ive been doing it for the past couple years and never grown tired of it.

Its ok that you dont recommend it. I also dont recommend that people smoke, but i recognize both are an unhealthy addiction that somehow bring some sort of peace to this chaotic life.

Everyone that complains about understeer, you need to fix that problem.
