Congratulations on the new addition to the family.

Hope he learns from his daddy how to turn wrenches before he is old enough to drive. I know my love of cars kept me out of trouble when I was young.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!!!!

Hey guys! Sorry been focused on family lately.

As for timeline, the original goal was to get it running and driving in the spring. We'll see if that works out though. Hopefully this turns out to be worth it. We'll see, i'm the guinea pig.

Here's the rear end "sandwiched" up to the car just for giggles.

Awesome, definately a nice project. I never could figure out how to do the front suspension, I had thought about a complete mustang II suspension. Now that I see how you did it, seems not too bad. I always wanted to do this but never did. Now that I just seen this thread, I have a guy coming this weekend to buy my roller vr4.

I do have another project, a 1980 firebird with a lq4/4l80e swap.

Nice! Sounds fun!

Yeah this isn't the most straight forward swap lol. Oh well, we'll see what happens!

Picked up a few parts for the build, nothing crazy exciting:

- OEM Manifolds from an LS3 vette. These will be perfect for my setup as they are very compact, well designed, and have proper flange placement. They also have a nice big collector on them. At first I will start and drive it around n/a. I'm going to make my "midpipes" and catback first. From here, I'll run pipes from the stock headers straight to the midpipes. Once I go turbo, I'll just run my headers to the turbo placement and have the downpipes meet up with the midpipes. Got it all planned out. Hope it makes sense

- Stock injectors for initial startup
- Vats bypass
- GM 3 bar map for when I turbo it
- Misc. even less exciting parts i won't mention

Picking these up this week. Otherwise, just working on the "family mod".
