...that you know of. Who's to say that spun bearing in car X with solid mounts wasn't due to the increased vibration introduced to the engine internals? There are also plenty of people on here that use an undampened crank pulley that make a respectable amount of power.

Trust me, I've seen a lot of vibrational analysis on countless systems before, and the knowledge I've taken from them is that nothing as sensitive as an internal combustion engine should be introduced to the magnitude of vibrations that is sure to come from a purely metallic mount. The math doesn't lie. The additional vibration is only going to add more stress to the motor, and that's the opposite of what people want in their street car. Race car? Probably not a problem.

People making big power are eventually going to have problems no matter what. You can't say that some unfortunate failure in their car couldn't have been even slightly influenced by something like solid mounts.

Uh... Matt ran UR underdrive pulleys on all of his cars in the past - not sure about his latest builds.

not that im saying to run one....AT ALL. but trevor also runs one last mod list I saw.
