Default MAP ECU load time?

Trying to load a map onto MAP ECU (file - - > open data file?)

Then connect -- - > it says "writing line 19 18 17" etc. then it just says reading data for... 20minutes and counting now. Is that normal?

Also, how do I know if it saved the map?

Still reading data, hour and a half later. This normal? I can't find anything on official forums nor googling.

k well off to work now and total failure. It's acting as if there is no map in there at all. (550cc injectors running off stock ECU = black smoke)

I do what i mentioned previously, i load it , make sure its connected.

Then I open the map (file - - > open data file) then i connect - it writes the lines, and then gets frozen on reading data for 2 hours 20 minutes before.

I saved the file and tried to start the car, same thing - running off stock ECU it seems. Everything is connected fine, we just went over it today.

What am I doing wrong? Hopefully while i'm gone someone can help me out. Thinking of once again ditching this for SAFC.

Once its written all the lines, thats it! It then goes and says reading data- its waiting for you dude!

If you saved the file of the net what you do is disconnect from the ecu. Go file, open and ope the datas file you got. Now press connect and it will go writing line 17,16, 15 etc. When it says reading data, its done and you can start up the car.

You will find that whilst a base map will let you start the car, you do have to tune it from there.

Cheers,

Ben.
