It's worth mentioning then that my VR-4 previously had some ricer tip that was put on by the last owner, that had blown apart and lost all its insulation...so it was basically a straight pipe setup, so it was night and day difference as far as how quiet it was for me. which model of magnoflow are you using? i was considering getting two of their oval 14x8x whatever race mufflers in the stock locations.

its also the fact that my cobra has long tube headers and no cats or turbo to quiet out the noise. supercharged cobras tend to be a bit loud


maggies on other cars tend to sound pretty good IMO. nice and smooth.

My Magnaflow sound pretty loud. The system is for a C6 but I had them custom installed.

I've got magnaflows on my SVT Contour, along with headers and no cats and that 2.5 sounds mean, it still doesnt go anywhere when you hit the gas but it sounds really deep and mean for a tiny engine

Paul, the Magnaflow tips I have look the same. The stainless steel last much longer than chrome and mine have a life time warantee.

no system we just building a custom Jake has car lift, exhaust bender, welder ect.

You should REALLY REALLY REALLY get Corsa or Loudmouth for your vette.
