Default Leak test....Spark plugs??

So i just went to do a leak test of my intake and i pressurized to 20lbs according to the air compressor but i never made it there according to the gauge on the intake, and i hear a lot of air leaking around my spark plugs and a little from my boost contoller, i didnt think the spark plugs would be a normal place for a boost leak...any advice or comments?
