Default Labour rates?

Anyone have any idea what the labour rates are to change the rear main seal and a power steering pump?..

I can not seem to find the info on the net anywhere

It depends were you go.

Dealer labor is $95/hr
Private Shops are about $70/hr

Rear main requires removal of the transmission so several hundreds of dollars in labor for a cheap seal.

The pump...maybe 2 hours.

I am sorry.. I need to be more clear..lol.. I meant the number of hours to do the job not the rate/hour...oops.. I think I did find it though.. seems

rear main seal: 7.7
power sterring pump 1.7

Between my engine and tranny rebuilds, plus other mods, i have saved over 10,000 in labor costs. All it takes is a manual and some reading comprehension.
