He gave me a call to let me know some of the details. The car was pig rich and set to 19psi I think. I know another run was a 12 flat at 14psi which is impressive to me with his current setup. An unfortante event happened to the car but I'm sure he's going to share all the details later when he can.

Ok guys just got home. Today was fucking awsome! As most know i was having a real bad spark blow issue, after all week trying to get it all worked out Brian and John fixed the issue. So we go to the track today Import Face Off event, about 4k people there. First pass was 12.07et with a 1.798 sixty and 114 trap on only 14psi on pump gas. Which was damn impressive to me with 13t's. Then i went to up the boost and did not get any better. The wastgates were leaking i was like WTF. So we went and borrowed some zip ties from some guys at the track. We wired the gates up to stop the boost creap on the gates. It still was only spiking 19-21 psi and holding about 16-17 to redline. That pass yeilded me a 1.71 Sixty and a 11.7 pass at 116.6. The funny thing is that i had never had to shift to 4th gear and at the end of the track i was like oh shit i need to shift, and i have a grind to fourth so i granny shited it a still ran this time. So i was done for the day then i was thinking more about it and i was like i am going to slam 4th and see what happens. So i get lined up mind you infront of 4k people, and i left the line at 6500. Pulled hard as hell started getting wheel hop then BAM clunk, clunk clunk stop. No fluid, no parts no nothing just wont roll. Hell the guy trying to tow me off the track could not pull me with out it binding up. But it does it sometimes, like something is binding. I really have no clue what i broke. All i know is this car is fucking screaming with minamal mods and low boost.
My mods are: 13t's, FMIC, 510cc inj, EMU, Clutch, Solids, BOV and open exhaust. All i know is i am maxing out the injectors. I really think this car will go 11.5 or faster once we fix the boost creap and and get it tuned good. Hell all the way down the track the WB was --.- to like 11.2. All i know is it is flat out scooting down the track. Oh vid and pics coming as soon as my friend gets home. |

Tranny or transfer case, Im going with the tranny cause that is what my car did, when I blew out the bell housing. And I believe your car is a 6-speed right? (Weak bell housing)
