I started working on the model for the turbo key. It's kinda tough to make it small and still look like a turbo. I'll get it though

If anyone has any other ideas for key heads let me know. (Something that more than one person will want). I'm also experimenting with other colors like metals and pearls.

Really? I don't think I've ever had a key cut for free at any dealer or locksmith...

I would love a stock looking key made out of a brushed aluminum type of finish with stealth still written in it.

are you ever going to make a 3000gt key? like the black stealth one except it says 3000gt. I'm sure a lot of people would want them. They look great btw.

I will eventually try. It will definately be an investment of time that's for sure. Before I do that I want to make sure that I am actually able to create many reproductions that have no imperfections. This might seem simple but it's not like I have super expensive plastic injection molding equipment.

edit: I'd probably be able to make keys that have the mitsu symbol it in much easier.

i got a key cut for free including the key at a mitsu dealer....but then again maybe its bc i shell out thousands of bucks there and they feel bad that everything even the keys break on these cars (well bend)

never had a problem cutting a key... even Lowes will do it for free here in Charlotte NC...

Figured I'd start on the turbo model before I hit the bars

Just a first attempt. Please critque. I want to set the blades in a bit deeper. Also I have to avoid undercuts so there are some things that just won't happen so things will be smoothed here and there. BTW, the width is about the same size of the stealth key.

[edit] the black shadow is just dirt mixed into it. Should have washed my hands first!
