Default I just lost my clutch

Anyone know how I can find it?

I had just gotten off freeway and stopped at the 1st light and the car stalled out when I stopped it. I lost all pressure in the clutch and when I try to start it with the clutch depressed it moves forward. If I start it that way and get going I can shift if I time it right.

I have not checked under the hood yet but I checked by the firewall and it was dry so no fluid leak there.

What should I check when I get it to the garage.

UGH!!

Alan

Look for fluid leaks? Sounds like something popped or a cylinder went bad!

I did hear a sizzling when I popped the hood after I got it parked. So I'm thinking some kind of fluid leak.

Is the clutch pedal on the floor? Maybe a burst hose going to the slave cylinder. Pull the battery & windshield washer reservoir & take a look.

Its not on the floor but it takes no pressure to get it there.

Your slave cylinder died... 30-40 bucks and you're as good as new...

You'll probably see it bleeding all over the back of your transmission down onto your downpipe... ( might be the sizzling )

.

Its the slave cylinder 99% of the time. My brother called me a few months ago said he lost pressure in his clutch pedal, I told him go to the car look under the tranny is there fluid, he said yeah. I ordered a new clutch slave from 3sx and a braided line, he was back on the road in 3 days. Also look inside the master cylinder is there fluid for starters...and look for leaks around it. My master failed shortly after my slave on my N/A.

It's the slave. My NA did the same thing. Just bleed out all your fluid put a new one in, your good to go.

They will both work. There was a slight difference in the 91's and maybe some 92's but nothing major.

edit. its actuall the 91 awd and all fwd are the same and the 92-99awd are the same, but there is only a slight difference of pressure i believe.
