I took off mine and thought it'd be good to make a "How To" for the people who want too, but don't know how, so here it is folks...
Like everyone says on the board, it's pretty easy... You can use pretty much anything to pry, flathead screw driver, etc. That socket is 10mm for referance. Oh, and you might want electrictians tape From here, you use the phillips screwdriver to take off the screws in the area that is , easy huh. Right where the window starts (from the back) there is a screw, one on each side, remove them ![]() ![]() Carefully pry with whatever device you decided to go with, they are metal clips. ![]() What i did was pulled them all off when the plastic piece was not on, then put the metal clips on the plastic clips, so it'd be easier to guide it in when i am putting it back in. Like so ![]() ok, so now we have the plastic piece off, we can get at them bolts... there are 3 places where there are bolts, and 4 bolts in total (1 on each side and 2 in the middle) So, right under this sucker is a bolt, even with my big socket wrench i was able to loosen it, if you cant get at it, you can remove the three bolts connecting the back wiper blade and free up some room that way. And repeat the same here ![]() ![]() And finally, last bolt here. ![]() Simply disconnect me... Pull up here, sometimes you had to give a tug to get the clip off. And do the same for the middle and right side. ![]() This guy you pull up wards with the spoiler and he'll come out ![]() Ok, wash them down to get all the dirt off, then use handy dandy electritians tape, cover the holes on the bottom AND The top, to help be a bit more sturdy agianst water. You should get something... A bit better, and i added anouther strip to make it a bit more even. Ensure all the clips are on, then line it up and plug the plastic piece back in, if you give it a good tap with your palm they should all go in easy. And here is your end result! ![]() |
