Default how to remove this glue type substance??

i took the leather off my shifter and e brake handle. Personally i think it looks a lot better now without the stitching and no more leather rubbing off... but the only question i have is, how do u get that set off glue off?? i have tried goo gone, grease lightning, and some others and nothing seems to work... what else should i try??

I use white gas to get almost any glue off, but if goo gone didn't do the trick, this might not either.
I use aceton for the tough stuff, but you gotta be careful with that as it might take off more than you want.
