Heres how I see it, if I can get all new part and labor paid for by somebody else, I might as well take advantage of that, but if that comes to more than the value of the car then scratch that, and it sounds like that won't be an issue.

Another option is to get the full check for price parts and labor, then buy my parts from mentor, do it myself and pocket the difference. Its gonna be a matter of convenience and how her insurance wants to handle this.

This is all assuming she will pay for my damages, if not (*knock on wood), time to go searching for some cheap ass rims!

here are a few more pics of the scene, if you wanted to see

this is a wide shot of both the parking lot the lady was coming out of on the left and the grassy mound that i was stopped on, on the right

here is a shot from basically where my car ended up, the 300 and the sienna were not there when the accident happened, you can see tire marks when i came up the hill and the patch of dirt where my frame dug a nice hole

this is a view coming out of the parking lot looking up the road where i was coming from, there is no way she looked and she didnt see me, she never checked. the visibility is perfect

lastly a shot of where bumper hit the curb and where it hit the little bush, the splatter is sap left from the impact. all in all not too bad, when i first got out to look i expected WAY more damage, lots of scratches and a little bent, a lot better than I expected

just got word that she is taking full responsibility and they are gonna pay for all the damages. Since she was driving a servco courtesy shuttle, servco is gonna pay for everything. (servco is one of the biggest car dealerships here on Oahu) that being the case I should be in good hands!

Car just got towed away, on a flatbed, and since I wasn't there my mom met the tow truck, she said they were all confused when they took the key out of the ignition and the car didn't turn off. Haha

$4100 dollars, 3 rims, 2 tires and a side view mirror later. its as good as new, actually better, cause they repainted my bumper and left fender.

they said there was no mechanical damage, and only did bodywork+rims and tires. and i got it back and have been driving for about 150miles and everything feels normal, no loud noises coming from the front wheels, steering is good and they re-aligned my tires so everything feels right.

any last thought before I move on?
