Default holy crap! wtf! did i do to my car????

i was on my way home and on the hwy when all the sudden my wheels locked up. i was deff over the speed limit but there was no one but me around(thank god). even the tow truck driver was like dude how fast were you goiing? i said "pretty fast" and he goes "i know you wernt goiing 65 with tracks that long!" i swear they are over 1000 ft long! if someone knows how to get pics from thier razor please pm me so i can show you all.

the wheels were locked when he pulled me onto the truck but then they all started turning? please, oh please, give me a list of what to run down/check off to fix her. she runs fine, tranny and tc had fluid replaced 5-600 miles ago(no puddles but who knows). she was running tits prior to lock up. ABSOLUTEY NO WARNING OR SYMTOMS PRIOR! please help me! j sin

your T-case locked up..you should always peroidically check your t-case for signs of leakage. Thankfully, you're okay.

Unfortunately, I'll have to agree

If so, not only do you have a TC to replace, but there could be other tranny, drivetrain and tire issues to deal with.

Like Bob said, you very well could have a bit more than your TC to replace, I'd unfortunately say your tires are a definite part to replace along with the TC. Send it off to the dealer as it's under a safety recall and they will need to replace it for free.

This is why people need to periodically check their TC's and stay up on the fluid levels.

yup, the tires are gone! bummer they only had 1500 miles on them. so much for the cf hood i was goiing to buy tommorrow. hopefully its tires and tc only. it was the scariest moment ive ever had driving! thanks for all your speedy replys! j sin

Yep definitely the transfer case. Just because it was replaced doesn't mean it won't lock up. After my lockup, I check for puddles before I even start my car. Make is as habitual as checking your oil level. You'll thank me.
