Yeah, it's supposedly the hot turbo in the DSM community, and I guess over in Europe. It's a European turbo...

Coz, my 40 isn't in the car yet. I will let you know when it is though

If the turbine housing bolts right up, i guess the only problem would be the big compressor housing...
Ive posted this picture before.. but it will give you a hint about the size.. the other turbo is a mitsubishi td04HL compressor housing.. (15T-19T have the same housing, maby even 13T)

My buddies and I built a Eclipse GSX not too long ago and we popped on a Holset HX40 with a HX35 turbine on it.
He moved to Kentucky and had the car dynoed at 18lbs and it put down roughly 600 AWHP
It would hit 4lbs at about 3100rpm and at 3400 it shot straight up to 12lbs when we had it set there
I think there great turbos
They also sound freakin sweet if you take the "howler" clip off

did you bore out a 12cm^2 that way it would fit with the HX40 turbine wheel?

that's what I'm planning on doing if Bullseye dosn't get back to me soon since I can't wait forever for their 70 a/r housing

I ran a HX-35 on the Talon in my sig, Bargain priced turbo's with alot of punch. I wouldn't run twin 35's on a 3s (crazy laggy) but a single hx-40 wouldn't be bad at all with the correct turbine housing.

We didnt bore it out.
We went to a place locally that rebuilds turbos and got a new housing for it.
Theres like 4 versions of the HX40 i think
Ours had a billet compressor
It was like a 2000 dollar turbo but we got it for cheaper lol
