agreed. 5000K is by far the best for street use. Nice crystal white light and isnt a pull me over color. Not to mention you can actually see things with it.

RICE!!

not only are 30,000k illegal but you get absolutely no good lighting, at that point they are making more heat than light, you are looking for both a ticket and an accident

I have found through rigorous testing that the highest HID lights you should have are 6000k/55w with the range of 4300k-5000k being the absolute perfect light output and whitest, 6000k give a minor hint of blue but they are still very bright, son't use anything higher than that, it's useless and pure rice

Say what? Headlights serve a purpose unlike the majority of the ricer shit you can put on a car. You want to put some craptastic body kit on your car, fine won't effect me at all. But when you want to put some "pretty" headlights just for looks, and they are in fact unsafe to drive with on the road, yeah I have a problem with that.

I would only go 6000K, 8000K is top...

I had 12000K on my other car before. Nightmare, I feel I can't see anything. Its just blue....

By looking at the first pic did you swap the projector lenses on the hi beams and low beams? It doesn't look like it but hard to tell. The low beam has a frost on it to scatter halogen light. HID don't need that and it causes the light to star-burst and scatter. The high bean lens does not have it and it works great for an HID bulb. I have NO IDEA haw to do it but it has been mentioned on here a few times. Just an idea. And yes, roll in a car that has 4300k, I no longer car what color the light is because you can see EVERYTHING!!! It such an incredible difference over stock or 10k plus lights

Here are 4300k in a non frosted housing. I think it looks great and I can see everything.

HID's are installed on low beams only, high beams still work stock and fine to switch on and off, because it doesnt cut off the HID's. I normally leave my high beams on during the night anyways, because I live in a remote area where not too many people drive at night, so no one bothers me about me blinding them with high beams.
