who are you not knocking? smokinvr4's box is made from 3/4 mdf and is sealed with silicon. plus I think he beat you by about half a decade.

dont get me wrong i like all kyles products from expericence iknow how hard it is getting the good stuff.

Im just askin whod be interested im not lookin to get offset 2 cents just whod like one if i made them.

and im not knocking anyone ive just seen some boxs that best buy and audio shops around me have tried to make me very crappy. Lets not make this thread something its not just whos interested.

ok for anyone who cars i just completed making half the templets.

to anyone who has ever seen smokin vr-4s boxes mine will a little taller than his(dont get me wrong cool guy awsome stuff) for bigger subs that need that back air space. also i am debating putting a full 1 inch top on it to support the heavyer subs.

Im not an expert on all subs ive had a few a P3 and a lightning audio strike dual voice coil and it weighs about 30+ pounds so i think i will be offering the option for guys who need a little beefer box.

ive seen alot of boxes in different places and quality matters to me so im thinkin of only using mdf wood screws to ensure a good solid box.

on an off note im considering once and if i sell enough i may start to make "custom" boxes just like a corner box but on the top it will have body filler to add a little more custom look to it. (you know the kind of box you could paint to match the color of your car for those who would like this)

nothing is set in stone im still workin out the bugs and tryin to make templets and a proto.

as for price im not goin to lie to you i havent ever sold a box in my life so im thinkin 80-100. Although I want to release a few proto types for people(rather cheap) to test out and give me feed back before i go into mass production.
