hi guys and ladies!! been out of the game for a while...after selling my vr4 4 years ago i got me a 1992 NSX but wasnt happy on that platform either..so my NSX is for sale again..lol but i recently just picked up a 1995 spyder auto for my son. it requires quite few work done to get it back in shape. just done the tune up and she runs great now other than the shaking in the rear when i drove it around the block.i figured bent rims or bad shocks. it should be no biggie. have a major problem opening and closing the hard top though. i found a leak on the one of the hydraulic hose. but fixed that but still wont open.and the sail window is stuck in open position..its gonna be a fun project figuring this shit out!!lmao im new to spyder biz so its gonna be exciting project. so here we go..i thought i would check in again...
Can't help with the quarter window issue, might be a microswitch issue. But the object in trunk sensor may not be allowing the roof to open all they way.
Great to see you back, Jojo! Grats on the Spyder purchase!
lol thank you!! 1st day of working with the car already began to shake my decission!!lol! its been a while since i had this kinda headache lmao!!she still fighting me!!
The Spyder group is the best bet with any roof issues, I've been fairly luck *knocks on wood* with only having to replace a hydraulic line and a tonneau cylinder.

ooppss my bad!! lol!thanks i am not able to asses the damages yet! so far thats what i found.it was working when i started this morning its just stop and blew a hose!lol other than the quarter window being stuck. yeah i just signed up to the group pending approval. it will be a learning experience for sure!!thank you again!
Was it the original hose? I know when we got our Spyder somebody replace a hose with common refrigerator hose and it blew as soon as we got home with it LOL. It did manage to hold for 5 full cycles.
Did you "bleed" the system of air after you replaced the hose? Was it a tonneau hose (right pump) or a roof hose (left pump)?
