For best results and a good shine is to use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.

This is one of the headlights I did for a "client" and I used Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.

The headlights for my conversion had the wrong color inserts, and I had been wanting to do this for a while so I did today. The headlights looked like ass before but look pretty decent now. The only problem I have is my passenger light has been shot with a bb gun or something (it was like that when I got 'em) and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for making it look a little better.

I have silicone in the hole to help seal it but would like to at least fill it with something, smooth it, and paint over it, masking off holes for the headlight beams like a stealth light. Any suggestions for hiding such an unsightly blemish?

Also, no giving me crap about forgetting to take off the bottom rests for the colored insert. I didn't notice I had left them on there until after I had resealed them, doh! Guess I'll hafta do it again, lol.

the plastic looks like satin black so get your self a satin black rattle can and mask out everything you don't want to paint. and paint the bit you siliconed to see if it dries the same or a bit of card and offer it to the area for sample color
