Default Haven't started my car for a month, any maintenance I should do?

Like the title says I haven't started my car for over a month maybe a little longer. The battery died and I'm just getting around to replacing it. The oil is only 2 months old so should I go get an oil change anyway? I'll check all the fluids and what not but just wasn't sure if there's something more I needed to do. Also any battery brands you guys recommend?

No maintenance, just put the new battery in and fire her up. Duralast and Interstate seem to be popular choices:

The battery question thread. Optima Red top vs Diehard etc

(Remember - searching is your friend)

yes, duralast, diehard and interstate have been excellent for me in the same situation. You know using them in cars that arent driven too much. Diehard and interstate seem to be better for the ones that really sit for long periods of time.

If you are paranoid. unplug the injector harness and turn it over until you get oil pressure...but its just a month.

I guess my main question was what battery is recommend but I asked because I usually get out and start it once a week just to keep the battery charged and get things moving. The past month the high's been 35 and it's been as low as -3, for a few days it hasn't gotten above 15. I just don't remember when it's been this cold in Ohio haha.

Thanks for the replies.

This is EXACTLY what I was talkng about in my thread
Hey I'm in a good mood now, but still havent found the short yet goin on 8 hours I think..coffee coffee coffee.... But Come on I had a real pisser of a problem,
120AMP Alt. Fuse Blown...Again ! Couldnt get a response for like 14 hours THEN...I got frustrated and vented and 2 guys er 3 came to my humble rescue. Meanwhile This AssClown Wants to know what to do after not starting his car for a few weeks And gets 7 replys right off the bat. Ok Guys I get the hint I'll take a bath.
Red rt tt.. No offense intended other than a good laugh, test the battery berfore you try to start it then check it after (Off 12-13 volts Running 13.5-14.8 approx) Then go play in the snow, or take it for a spin on the lake for that matter. Pea Salad Everyone....

1 month is definitely fine, mine frequently sets for 3-4 months at a time during winter without any problems.

As far as batteries are concerned, I'm partial to the AutoCraft Silvers that advance auto parts sales as I've had really good luck with them.
