first off I haves searched every thread about this and there is alot! I have checked my seal, cleaned out my drain's, and had a friend spray with hose while I watched from inside with plastic panel off. It seems to only come in when it rains?? when I back out of my driveway I can see it pouring in the hatch(passenger rear). cant tell where its getting in at? I have my rear seats out and the passenger gets about 2 in of water overnight. Almost every thread about this ends with just giving up. I hope someone who has fixed this will shed some light here? I was thinking maybe the wiper but doesnt look to be coming from there.
Seeing the rust at the very rear end of the hatch makes me wonder if the water is coming in around where the spoiler is attached to the hatch? (seems that the water may run down from the hatch and try to exit at that rear seam....). The water coming straight down would be worse than spraying with a hose (unless you concentrated it right on that area...).
I can't imagine it would be too tough to remove that center section and inspect that area?

Again, just shooting from the hip....
Bob.
just pulled the plastic caps off the spoiler bolts and there rusty so ima hafta investigate!
I didn't have water leaking in but when the back glass came out there was rust under the window sealant at the bottom of the glass. May be the same thing with yours?

Another GOOD call (although with the 4 non Spyder's we've owned, we've not seen this issue....or for that matter, the OP's issue either...)
well I pulled the spoiler off and there is no way water could get in that way, put some sealant down just for good measure, took the rear wiper out and sealed it also....I guess ill find out if it worked next time it rains
