I used a local traffic attorney...I paid him $60 to appear for me, but all he did was make sure I could do deferred adjudification so it wasn't reported to insurance. I still had to pay the $195 ticket and go to a defensive driving class. But I did the comedy DD so it wasn't too bad. lol. Oh, and I'm still on probation for 90 days afterward. If I get another ticket in 3 months in the same county, there's no way around it and I lose my license or something...I dont remember. Each county is different and more difficult to deal with than the next. But it's TX and every bit of law enforcement is crap and the people associated with it are all assholes.
