FYI I have a set. With MR gears it does move through the powerband rather fast.

than why so few people have them? price?
If you going to spend that kind of money on a new "kit", why not go bigger for much more hp with a relatively small increase in investment (DR900/1000/1200).
With supporting mods, of course.

I bought my kit used mainly just for the ceramic coated exhaust manifolds because they will accommodate the larger DR1000/1200's.
I paid less for the whole kit used than a new set of ceramic coated headers.

The turbos were in questionable condition and I have to have them checked for integrity and most likely the center sections replaced.
But I consider that I got the turbos and Tial waste gates free with what I paid for the whole used kit with the ceramic coated manifolds included.

After I get everything tuned and running proper, I plan on swapping the 28's to DR1000's or 1200's in the future.

Many are not interested in the peaky power band of a larger turbo car like the larger DR series turbos....

Are the same mods needed for the 28's (to bolt on) as to accommodate the 16Gs or are they a bolt on? TY!

Check into it, but many road racing circles will put you into an unlimited class if you stray from the TD04. Meaning, unless you have DEEP pockets gonna get wasted all day by people who can pay to play. Just food for thougth, not bashing you.

It's a different flange than stock or 16G.
