DOHC ATX

Around 30 with 90% highway and drive it easy.

15-17 mpg. TT. half city, half freeway, bit when i drive it, i drive it. 146K, running like a top.

I got 21mpg last tank. That was jut driving back and forth to work mainly.

On trips I have seen 26-28.

i constantly get 400 miles b4 the light clicks on.

but im about 95% highway and rarly take it above 3k rpm when crusing.

i read somewhere the light kicks in at like 2.3 gallons, so that should get us about an extra 50 miles... no?? eather way, better than most newer cars. the comericial for the new sonata said it only gets 19-22 mpg

Thats horrible mileage if its highway.

You should be seeing 450+ before the light kicks on. Driving around here, no highway I usually see 380-400 when the light kicks on and I love running to 5000 rpm plus.

5 speed SOHC

16-18 city, i don't have a 4th so my third gear gets used alot trying to get the pig up to speed and my taller fifth doesn't help

21-22 on the last tank with my car louded down with pa equipment, about 30% highway driving

my car barely ever sees highway so my true mpg has yet to be seen

I seem to get 20.35-20.65mpg on my vr-4.

I got the same gas mileage out of the SOHC, DOHC, and DOHC TT.

20-22 in the city 25+ on the highway.

All reflective of my driving habbits with each as power and gas mileage are inversely related (more avg hp/time ='s less gas mileage).

With that I floor it alot with the SOHC, calmed down a bit with the DOHC, with the TT I cruise 99% of the time because flooring everywhere would lead to 60 in about 3.5-4 seconds and 100 in 9 seconds, not to mention I would be getting 15-17 in the city which is a big NO no with these gas prices.
