Ok, PLEASE let's stop talking about Nelson. he's not only not a member of this board, he's BANNED. So he should not and cannot represent us.

that said, here's an open invitation to whoever ends up competing. Free lodging at our house for the event (a couple days before/after too if you want).

We also have at least a 2-car (possibly 3-car by then) garage that you can use AND there are several LV 3/S owners who can turn wrenches if needed (myself included).

Anyway, offer is out there. Up to you to take me up on it!

we better have a car that atleast can compeat with some of those cars if not all. if not then we better not show up, because this platform is already humiliated.

Well, if we had Monett's drag car and SCE's road course car we'd be right in there with the best of 'em. As for the "registered" rule then I don't know...

Hell I was the one back the 2nd year of the USCC I tried to get someone to compete, saying that OVERALL we'd do well. I ran the numbers after the event and if the "highly modded" (at the time) 3s had competed, it would have easily taken 3rd place, maybe 2nd.

We could do alright on the roadcourse, but even Matt's car would get smoked by the BIG boys when it comes to straight line. The fastest street reg'ed Vipers, Supras and Corvettes run in the 7's at least? Don't know about Ferrari's and Lambo's. I didn't think those folks tended to mess with what they bought too much but I could be wrong, but I've never heard of a 7 or 8-second Ferrari.

I agree that we have a decent chance at a USCC type event, but as I mentioned in an earlier post, it all depends on the format of the competition. If it's a 1-car-wins-all based on it's performance in all the events, we potentially have a very good chance. If it's a whichever-forum-takes-the-most-wins-between-its-2-representative-cars format, we're not going to be doing too well.
