He is. Wonder if he's upgraded his suspension yet? I can't remember. I know he used to run the stock suspension because he liked being able to switch to the cushy Tour mode for daily driving, but I have to say that the stock suspension really isn't too good for roadcourses.

For that matter, does anyone know if Phil (SCE) has installed his e16g kit yet? I know he was running on 15g's for quite a while, but he bought an IPS TD05 kit for the track monster. Just don't know if he ever put it in. If he did, that should help on roadcourses. AFAIK, Jack T. still has the fastest known 3/S time on Road America due to having quite a bit more power (2:32 vs 2:34 for Phil on 15G's but with the crazy wide DOT-R's). Phil was faster through the turns but Jack was uncatchable (by anything else on the track on that trip) on the straights. With the e16g's though, Phil should be able to knock quite a bit off that laptime.

IIRC, there were some mildly modded Evos on that trip and one of them made comments on the Evo forums after the trip about the 2 red 3/S's that were outrunning everyone else, one of which passed him like he was standing still on the straights (Jack T.) and another that he had no chance of keeping up with through the turns (Phil).

Thanks for the kind words Max. But, mine is NOT an IPS single. I built the kit entirely myself, even the manifolds. The turbo came from airflo.com. I've never bought anything at IPS.

Not really... unless we are on dirt. The stock lsd works amazingly well.
