Right, sorry I didn't mean to jump your balls there. Just a little irritated today.

But, even if he is just purely going for looks with the widebody, then he will have very sunken in wheels, which doesn't lookg good at all. So he will either get wider wheels, or use spacers. Doing either of those puts the tire under the original fender if he didn't cut them and would rub like mad.

Also, yes he could just cut the inner front fender as well. But I imagine its easier to just make a full mold of the front, then you have lighter, fiberglass front fenders. You can't do that with the rear, becuase the rear quarters don't just unbolt.

wow I never thought of using foam like that. That's a good idea.....not that I really have anything I want to fiberglass just yet, lol. Good job, keep us updated.

also didnt see if it was mentioned but what ever tape u use on the foam should be covered with wax, so the fiberglass will seperate from it when u pull it away....

wow that's crazy. I wanna see how this turns out. My uncle used expanding foam on a rusted old truck before. he filled in all the holes. Then he cut the foam somewhat flush and tiger-haired over it. Sanded it smooth and used some spray paint. It looked fine and passed inspection. Good luck w/ the fiberglass, looking forward to more pics

damn looks good so far. I just used that stuff last week to spray inside the metal underneath the interior panels to get rid of little rattles
