Default First attempt to widebody the badass3000

Alright, I was going to pay someone to do this but I figured I would give it a try first. I knew I was going to need some kind of medium like clay, playdo, or foam to get the general shape I wanted. I couldnt find large quantities of clay and after failing to make my oun playdo I gave up for a while. Then I found this how-to article in one of my car mags and it says to use this insulating foam called Great Stuff. Comes in a spraycan and comes out like hair moose, then grows and hardens pretty hard. Then your suposed to use this cheeze grater looking file that is spacificaly made for foam. After you get the shape you cover it with duct tape and lay fiberglass over. So now I have the shape for one fender but have never used fiberglass before. Anybody got any hints or a how to?
Anyway here is my progress so far...

Congratulations! Thats some balls to just give a shot on a nice car like that for the first time.

I'm sure I'll do it myself exactly like that for body kit on a car at some point, haven't done fiberglass myself yet either though.

This taken to the farthest extreme I just picture that NSX converted into a Ferrari F50 by those Japs, you can see all the styrofoam they use.

Did you know that expanding foam is the same formula as Gorilla Glue? (foam came first) G-glue just doesn't have the stuff to expand that big.

once I get the fiberglass hardened, I can remove everything and the car will be back to original. Its not like I did any damage to the stock fender. My plans are to replace the front fenders but the rear will have to be a bolt-on type of fender.

Wow, that looks pretty good. But how do you plan on getting both sides to mirrior each other. That side looks good but try to do it again exactly the same. Good luck, I'm impressed.
