Default Finally my Flowmaster vid for NA. Very nice sound.

Single muffler, one inlet, dual outs. Flowmaster model #9425400 .

I've had my Flowmasters for 10 years now and finally got a clip of it. It's the best sounding exhaust I've heard for an NA, and I'm not just saying it cause I own it. Nice deep tone, very throaty, no fartcan. Sounds even better under load and while engine braking. I get many compliments on it and balk at people who think Flowmasters are for American cars only. Cost me $180 including new piping from the muffler which is under the rear seats out to the tips which I paid another $90 for. Test pipe installed and all resonators removed. Stock from test pipe forward. My car is a 96 and has precats. If you don't have stock precats, then it will sound different.

I have to note, I took a buddy to the same muffler shop to get the same setup as mine on his 98 SOHC and it sounded the same as my DOHC.

Here's my youtube vid of mine.

And for comparison, here's my buddy's Dynomax exhaust on his NA. Test pipe fitted. Very loud and has a really bad fart can sound. He has since changed over to Borla which pretty much sounds the same, so he had to put his cat back on to quiet it down.

Sounds very good! There’s another guy from Texas that has a duals with flowmaster’s and I have to say it is the best sounding 3s I have heard.

Yeah too bad Flowmasters are ugly and have to be hidden. Or else I'd have them on my 300ZX too, but the car's designed to show off the mufflers out back. So I have Greddys which are pretty and expensive, but don't sound as good as my 3KGT.

Luckily the 3S is designed to where you can't see the mufflers.

Throaty. There's a SOHC Stealth around here that sounds like a Ford V8, aka awesome.

I just got everything through my muffler guy, it was cheaper than buying one from Ebay and taking it to him. And like I said, it was only $180 for the muffler and piping installed from the cat-back, I paid another $90 for the tips I chose. He had to order what I needed and it only took a few hours to get them.

I hear people paying ALOT more for a cheap custom exhaust, like $300-up!
