EBAY 19Ts *fitted* with pics ;)

Hey all,

Purchased some of these
Turbo Compressor Upgrade CHRA Cartridge kit 3000GT Stealth TD04-19T Bolt On | eBay

They are made by Kinugawa.



Thought ye Ill give em a whirl for the price and far too many people get ripped off by some websites for turbos.

You have to clock the front turbo upwards as it hits the front engine mount... So adjust FMIC pipes to accomodate this
NONE of the water lines fit so in need of modifying the lines with fuel hose or braided ones.
Quality of the turbos is amazing if im honest and im looking forward to the power update. Heres some photos.



This one showing the rear...look carefully at my DIY coolant lines. All I did was cut them down and fit 3/8 ID heavy duty fuel hosing


EVEN profiled my own turbo housing to fit the L wheel... Was machined out but the slight profile needed on the top.

Look at the way I positioned the coolant lines facing upwards


items removed to make fit:

Both plenum stay in brackets
Ad to extend the ic pipe to the rear turbo
Front turbo stay bracket
Slightly relocated ptu
Front ic pipes completely changed
Front turbo need one an6 90degree coolant adapter
Slimline rad fan is needed to help clear actuator.

Here... is the front turbo... for the actuator to fit I had to make up a bolt to wedge in between that and the turbo.. on theother side is a proper fixed bolt on the actuator bracket. This is the only way it will fit on the wastegate flapper.


Front turbo again.. a 90 degree an6 fitting which allows a 3/8ID hose to fit on. Again the only way on the rear of the core to feed the coolant and must face upwards but slightly to the left,

You have to make up some FMIC piping aswell... Look at my setup.. Not the prettiest but bet mines faster


This got a little tricky.
For it too fit I had to grind off the edge of the coil pack bracket.. But holds on fine with the bolt near the plenum side.




Engine bay pic.. Notice the makeshift hosing on the rear IC pipe... cost of nothing its abit Magn1t but it works leak free as you have to extend that pipe







Just tested them at 1 bar... Feels similar to my L 15Gs and kick in at similar time.
These will come to life at 1.2bar +.. Im gonna run them past 20psi with my meth setup..
Very impressed with the quality of these turbos and for the total cost of the setup and the brackets you lose (for the better) You end up with a easier to work on engine bay and some bad boy 19Ts for half the cost.

I would like updates on these also. There is no harm in this, I've seen we're cleaning the Chra out real good before installing for extra safety.

Aup bro...... I didnt touch the CHRA or the turbos... all I did was bore out and profile the exhaust housing to fit a L wheel..

Update anyway... Been running 19psi through these bad boys no problems thus far and hold boost right to redline with no problems or drops.. uploaded a video to youtube showing...

ignore the fishbowl camera syle as youtube auto stablised it...

Look at the controller...it recorded boost in psi and notice the 2nd gear change to 3rd gear...both hitting redline.. from 2000 rpm..good acceleration

Also at the end of the video look at my gauges and tell me what you think to HOW healthy it still is after all this time.

lol i have these ive been running them for sometime now. I was going to wait a full year before i posted any results , the quality is ridiculous. I have them on my red vr4 but this winter i will be building my silver one up and i am going to do the 16 g set up so i most likely wont play with the 19ts anymore but they do pull really hard.

That is a very interesting find you had going on. How much did the machine shop charge you to get the turbine housings bored out? You didn't have to touch the compressor housing at all?
