Default dr900's on a 6G74?

Has anyone put a dr kit on a 6g74? If so, how did everything fit? I obviously expect to have to build a custom downpipe and rework my dn hardpipe kit

Was there enough clearance between the firewall, radiator, and engine to shoehorn everything in there?

Any words of advice?

We are putting a set of dr1000's on a 6g74 right now. So far the test fit looks OK. Its going to be pretty tight in the back though.

Well the 1,200's are a pretty tight fit on a 72. Now I know the 900's are smaller but the 74 also has a taller deck height. Its gona be a tight fit but I would assume its doable.

I'm working on it now but I just assembled the motor. So far the only thing I had to cut was the rear motor mount bracket, I think thats unrelated to the 74 though. Hopefully actually putting it in the car in a couple weeks so we'll see then.

*GT are you building TonyGolds car? I know he was planning on it but I hadn't heard if he was using DR's headers. Let me know how it all comes together

*GT, you have to trim the motor mount on the 72 also, so like you mentioned, its unrelated.

Anyone else trying this? I'm contemplating a 6G74 with a 6G75 crank, forged pistons and rods, and a set of stage 3 6G72 tt heads to create a 3.75L stroker, I think it would pair nicely with the dr900's for pump gas duties
