Default Doing my main gauge cluster (pics)

My obsession with LED's continues. I'm redoing my main cluster right now. This very moment my soldering iron is warming up and I decided to relax a bit and post pics. I'll let them speak for themselves.

sanding down the yellow film from the back for pure white light. You can see the difference clearly.

Seems like a lot of work to fabricate the LEDs when you can buy then already made to replace the #74 bulbs. A pack of two is only $1.99 and they come in Blue, Red and Green.

Oh well, if ya like to solder...

hopefully u dont get bright spots like i did when i had change my lights too. It really sucks. If you do get bright spots i recommend you add surface mounts leds all around the inside, it looks way better. If you want a tip on how to make led needles just let me know(or maybe you know how to already )

Oh well.. Did everything and turns out the polarity is wrong need to change now everything. Here's how it looks so far.

Camera picked up the color wrong, it's pure red, not orange-ish.

Need to fix polarity tomorrow and needles.
