Does anyone have a fed spec 96-97 vr4?

Does anyone have a fed spec 96-97 vr4?
You can look at the tag on the firewall it will have a 7M for cali cars and a 2M for fed cars.

I have never seen a fedral spec 96-97... do they exist?

I looked up an ECU in Mitusubishi ASA, and from 96+ there are not two part number like there are for the 91-95. In 96 all cars had to be OBDII, which I think ended the cali spec cars.

I looked it up in ASA and I saw options for cali vs federal for 96-97 but i didn't check the PNs for the ECUs.

I have a '96 VR-4. From 96 - 99 no further distinction was made between Cali and Fed Spec.
