Hi, i have been wanting to recharge my AC but i do not know which hose i should use to charge it. Should i use the thick hose or the really skinny one close to the condenser. The charge system says i should use the Low pressure hose but i think my blue caps are mixed so i dont know which hose is the high pressure or low pressure. can any one point me to the right direction?
Thanks. |

low side is always on the bigger hose. If you system has air in it, you will need to evacuate it with a vacuum pump first.

Some of those cheap kits come with UV dye and a black light pen to detect the leak.

Also stay away from R-134A bottles with leak stopper added. Always better just to fix the leak and put in clean refrigerant than the risk messing up the lines further.
The low side line runs across the driver's side fender and is insulated in black foam. |
