well....the day has finally come...my car idle's perfectly...i'm ecstatic...i just drove it to the shore this weekend and it didn't stall once..haha..all it was was the ISC...I actually bought a used one a few months ago and it didn't fix it..turns out that used one I bought was bad TOO!!..so I got one that came from a car that ran right, installed it, and i'm good to go....thanks to Hans at Ground Zero Performance for that...

so...here's the status of my car...everything is fixed but ONE tiny thing that annoys me...if I lay on the throttle very lightly, the car misses...you can hear all kinds of pops and rumbles from the exhaust...as a result of this, when i'm barely on the throttle (driving in slow traffic, cruising on the freeway) the car jerks back and forth.....it's insanely annoying when I'm cruising on a street really slow or crawling in traffic..cuz the car jerks back and forth...however, if I floor car, it runs perfectly...

another thing I noticed, and this may be related....if I get in the car and drive it immediately it hesitates until it warms up....even when it's 80 degrees outside, I have the let the car warm up otherwise it hesitates until it warms up all the way...it's like the car is getting too much air or fuel....

anyone have any suggestions? a few people said vacuum leak, but wouldn't it hesitate during wide open throttle then?

someone else to clean the MAF....what else would you suggest? it sound liek it would be something with the throttle body...

The motor doesn't produce vacuum under full throttle.

hmmm....so it IS possible that I have a vacuum leak....it's the strangest thing...it's only under really light acceleration...when you're barely on the throttle...it's so freaking annoying when you're trying to cruise through traffic in second 10-15 miles per hr or so....i'm anal..hah...i want the car to run perfectly...

i thought it might be the o-ring in the biss screw as well..I think it's something ot do with the throttle body, because the car hesitates a lot when the engine is first started....once it warms up, it's fine...

good chance. also, you might want to check your motor mounts if it is jerking the car really bad.

well, i would suggest doing a vac. reduction and seeing if it does the same thing.

I am assuming this is on a NA stealth. Very simple to do and will shortly determine if it is a vacuum leak or not

I have the EXACT same problem. Hesitation until it warms up and then hesitation under very light throttle. I've pressure tested a lot. I believe its something other than vac leaks.
