Default Re: discounttire broke off two lugs in wheel change

I went to a different wheel guy today. the wheels were re-balanced and mounted without difficulty. all rides well now. no vibration in the wheel now, unlike before with discounttire. since the wheel change, i'm having a squeal sound when first applying my breaks-coming from front left brake/rotor?. whatcha y'all think?

The wheel guy said my front rotors aren't warped, but are wearing unevenly. said brake pads have a little more life left in them. the squealing only occurs when slight pressure applied but goes away after more pressure applied.

Thanks.

Well you would think these places could take all of another 5 seconds to hand start the lugs so shit like this doesn't happen. Oh, and also to not drive them down until their air wrenches spin, then try to tighten it a bit more! My mother had the wheels on her BMW changed once at the local co-op here and my god, my father and I couldn't get the lugs off. We took the car to the co-op and it took them a good 30 minutes to get them off. My sister has also had the threads on several of her bolts stripped off at various places just spinning the lug up on the tire without making sure it isn't getting cross threaded...

My father and I just get ours mounted and balanced and put them on ourselves. At least we know when we get a flat, we can actually take the damn thing off!
