OK well for the last week my coolant has been disappearing so I have been monitoring my temp and coolant level and I lost probably 2-3 liters within the week. I have been searching on here and it seems like my water pump might be leaking.
I looked under my car and it seems like it IS leaking coolant on the drivers side (I tasted it and it is sweet). My car has 69000 miles and I NEED to get the 60K done I have just been dirt poor. What is the going rate for a 60K? and what are all the parts needed? water pump. timing belt. plugs. wires. ? If I cant find someone around here to do it for me I guess I will just have to take it to the dealership ![]() PS I am in Calgary AB.

Dealer's will probably charge you North of 2000 to do a 60K service.
Try really hard to find someone who can turn a wrench near you and save a boat load. It's well worth it.

this is pretty much what you need for the 60k... all in one bundle
![]() IPS Motorsports looks like the going rate is $383.59+shipping lol as far as someone to do it for you... not too many 3s'ers in Canada... you may need to go a different route, or if you want, try doing it yourself but thats up to you if you feel your competent or not, there's plenty of walk throughs around.

Tensioner Idler Pulley Tensioner Pulley Anti-freeze & distilled water If money's tight you can do it in two steps, do the water pump/timing belt/tensioner/pulleys now and do the plugs/wires/filters etc later. |

if you aint bad with a wrench then attempt it your self. its not really hard to do. i think there maybe a tut on stealth316 i'm not sure. but you will need timing belt kit, water pump (genuine), oil/ oil filter etc etc.
the easiest way to do timing belts is to remove the radiator and altinator the rest flows. the tricky bit is the power steering belt tensioner pully just remove the two bolts that hold that on. and use a long 1/2" braker bar to crack the crank bolt. wedge it against the car in the direction of rotation and crank the engine but don't start the car.
