Default Decisions, Decisions.

Well, this is the frustrated post. Never thought I would make one like this but now I'm about over it. And before you start to say it, I'm not getting rid of it, so that's out of the question. I've invested too much time and effort as well as shit loads of money to still be nowhere.

The long and the short of it:
  • 1994 VR-4
  • Bought Aug, 2003 with 64k on it.
  • Spun bearing Dec 2003.
  • "Rebuilt" Feb 2004 (which was a local mechanic that fucked up more than he fixed)
  • Car "ran" for a while and then blew the rear turbo and needed some other things replaced. Couldn't afford everything all at once so I bought things as I had the money. Ended up getting 18T turbos, Spec Stage III+ clutch, rebuilding the trans, as well as a slew of factory parts for install. Everything was installed Dec 2007.
  • Car ran until Jan 2008 when it jumped timing. Had a different local mechanic come over who managed to fuck up more shit.
  • Ended up getting Monochrome (Greg) down here multiple times from DE to pull the motor and trans, swap heads (DR Stage II) as well as replace parts that the previous mechanic busted.
This past weekend was supposed to be the final weekend. Got everything back in, got all the fluids in, started the car, topped off the fluids, and let it idle for about 10-15 minutes. Took the car to the end of my block and it just shut off. According to my SAFC, it's not getting any RPM signal. Both cam and crank sensors are brand new. There is no spark and no fuel in the cylinders but pulling the fuel line and giving it a quick crank, there is fuel pressure. The entire ignition system is brand new.

The car drove for 2 minutes and it felt so damned good.

I just don't want anyone else local touching this car and the two local "shops" here won't use your own parts and I only have about $1k left to work with. I'd ask Greg to come down once more but I know he hates the trip and his schedule is the suck.

Suggestions?
