I have NO CLUE what happened at AutoX yesterday because I was out and about running errands for NG, but I do know this...
First, the dunk tank was a HUGE success. Thanks to all who participated, a great deal of money has been raised for the NG.
The important thing that happened.... I offered up Chris (IPO) as a victim. If we raised $75, people could throw until he was dunked, AND I'd tell them where NG10 would be right then... And I did.
The announcement was made, so I'll make it here, too... Surprise! I actually gave in before the banquet!
NG10 will be in..... INDY from June 22-27. A very special thanks to Firestorm who persisted in helping us get in touch with them... He was kind enough to go into the office, get a name and phone number of someone who would actually talk to me, and continue offering to help if we'd work on it. And I did work on it. But I want to make it clear... I was very honest when I told you guys that Indy wouldn't talk to us. We signed that contract yesterday, and until two weeks ago, they really weren't talking to us. Until last week, we'd totally given up on them.
Hope everyone will be excited. We are!
